Suburbia In Ruins – Undirected

Undirected is the first EP to be released by Suburbia In Ruins and its 5 tracks pure epic metalcore, from the opening seconds of the first track, Rise From The Ashes, you are sucked into a whirlwind of or brutal, melodic guitars which rival Caliban at there best.
By the time the second chorus kicks in your hooked and singing along.
No Re-Entry is a harder hitting song that would not sound out of place on a Swedish death metal album, with the speed and brutal vocals, but still keeping that melodic guitar.
The third track The Greatest Love Is A Murderer’s Thirst has an epic intro and its not until the 1 minute mark the song really kicks in, with the great vocals that really capture you from the start which all builds up to an epic chorus which All That Remains would be proud of, this really is a song that must be heard.
Its quickly followed by Becoming The Archetype a great melodic death metal track which makes you want to go crazy defiantly a song for the mosh pit lovers.
Before you have time to think your hit with a brutal sound of Stick To Your Guns the final track on the album by the time you get to the chorus your hit with vocals of a women which puts so much more depth into this song, yet before you know it that hard hitting guitar we love is back making this the best track on the Undirected.
I can almost guarantee that you will have this band stuck in your head for more then a few days. This is defiantly worth buying as it appeals to more then just death metal fans it have a popness about it that makes it accessible for most music fans. 5/5
